I used to work for a catering and whenever someone would order a vegan meal I would think “come on, dude, that’s too exaggerated, I could never do it, cows don’t die because you take their milk” and stuff like this. I used to be a voracious meat eater and I used to think that I would always be.
Then one day I found some videos on the internet that made me change my mind-my wife was vegetarian for a couple of months at that time, and straight after watching Tim „Livewire“ Shieff advocate about veganism I told my wife “I think we should be vegan” and from that moment our life changed forever. We took a couple of wrong turns and digressions along the way, but since Vegfest London 2014 we never looked back, not even once, and we pretty much preach about veganism whenever we have a chance, even if the person doesn’t want to listen to the “vegan” word: one day we were in that position and I wish someone taught us sooner.

My personal vegan journey is a multi-shaped, multi-faceted psychedelic ramble, I don’t regret any of that, it’s a journey of learning, embracing without judging, saying “Aaaaaa, now I know where all this come from, I wasn’t aware, I made mistakes, I accept them and I want to make that change, I want to be part of it”. Now, I just want to show the world I can be vegan and be strong as a bull, more athletic, powerful and that I can survive on my vegan diet, I can be clean and have clean clothes without harming animals, I can live with no fur, no wool, no silk and no leather.

I want to debunk those myths according to which a vegan person has to be skinny and weak, everything depends on will power. Yes, you can be strong and not harm any animals in the process, stop making excuses and look further, there is suffering involved in what you eat and in thousands of other aspects of life, we want to stop this, we are making that change.
