THANKYOU VEGAN
Deciding to go vegan was one of the best choices I made on April 2015. I have never felt this AMAZING, not just physically but mentally. I am soo much healthier, full of energy, more active and much happier. I can’t begin to explain how my life has changed since changing my diet, and in turn, my lifestyle. One of the most amazing things about this diet is I get to eat an abundance of delicious foods without having to „count my calories“.
When I was restricting my daily calories before going vegan I held more body fat than I do now while eating a LOT more food. I think this is because now I eat in a way that FUELS me and DRIVES me to get the most out of my days. By eating the amount of wholesome nutritious foods that I do I feel alive and WANT to be active. I’m no longer sitting around waiting for my next meal because I’m so hungry and tired. I eat until I’m full and will NEVER ever again stop eating when I’m still hungry.
I remember sometimes getting to a point where I was so hungry that I’d eat anything and everything in sight. Now this NEVER happens, I eat what I want now and my body is thanking me for it. Yes there are so many more aspects and benefits to eating a plant based diet than purely bettering your body, but man I wish someone had told me 6 years ago that I didn’t need to spend all my teenage years restricting my calories and feeling like shit, & instead could be thriving on an abundance of whole foods. Switching to a plant based lifestyle hasn’t just helped me to better my body, it has done wonders for my confidence, fitness and overall wellbeing.
